
I've been wanting to build a race car for ages. Since I saw the F1Tenth competition (a 1/10 scale driverless racing competition), 3 or 4 years ago, in fact.

The official car uses a LiDAR system and is pretty expensive, so I decided to make my own using a Raspberry Pi and two RPi Cameras for Visual SLAM.
I am implementing SLAM via this repo.
This is also my first project that includes a lot of electronics, so I'm learning as I go!
